The YellowDog Glide Stroke - Arc Putt – YellowDog Golf Putting Training Aids

The YellowDog Glide Stroke - Arc Putt

The YELLOWDOG GLIDE STROKE is the newest addition to our putting training aids and is a follow up to the original YellowDog Golf Putting Training Aid.  It replicates the ARC stroke method of putting and the stroke favoured by most PGA professionals.

                      HOW IT WORKS

The Glide stroke works on the principle that if you repeat something often enough it will become part of your make up and easy to reproduce.
Referencing the diagram below. The putter can only track the ARC shown in yellow and the golf ball will only travel along the target line denoted by the white dotted line.
With the putter tracking this perfect arc stroke. Learning the muscles required that best perform this action becomes easy.

                     COLOUR CODED MARKINGS

AND THE   BENEFIT FOR LAG PUTTING

The best golfers and putters in the world keep the length of their back and forward stroke length ratio the same with a one to one ratio. We believe you should try to do the same.  For this reason we have added colour coded markings to help you reference this one to one relationship. The benefits to the golfer is the putting stroke becomes balanced and gauging the length of stroke to the putt becomes easier. Taking advantage of these marking leads to more controlled lag putting and less 3 putts.
